Benediction is the grandson of two celebrated sires of World Champions, Forevermore and Noble Flaire. A naturally gifted horse from the moment he arrived, Ben’s length of forearm and lofty motion have made him a standout. We are pleased to see these attributes being passed on to his get with great consistency.

Bendiction's dam, HVK Noble Melody, is sired by Noble Flaire and out of MO Justa Wild Melody, sired by Treble's Willy Wild. A Hall of Fame producer, MO Justa Wild Melody is the dam of World Champions and World Champion producers, as is her full sister, Treble’s First A'Flaire. Like her dam, HVK Noble Melody earned a coveted place in the AMHA Broodmare’s Hall of Fame, class of 2011!

Benediction’s sire, Shanghai, is a multiple champion Forevermore son and a full brother to two multiple World Champions. In his limited breeding career, Shanghai sired several futurity winners and a host of beautiful and versatile horses.

Although Benediction's show career was limited after his sweep of the Jubilee Regional Weanling Futurity, he is proving to be quite successful in the breeding shed. In 2012, Ben’s first eligible foals competed in the Morgan Weanling Gala and his daughter, Keepsake Timeless, brought home one of the coveted Gala Green coolers! This fancy girl also secured Reserve Champion Jubilee Futurity Weanling Filly, while her brother, Keepsake Sonkist, collected his own tricolors in the Jubilee Futurity Weanling Colt division. In 2013, Keepsake Timeless returned to the Jubilee Futurity and claimed the Reserve Champion Filly title!

More recently, Macy’s Keepsake and SMS Galahad, both sired by Benediction, captured 2013 Top Ten Morgan Weanling Gala wins and brought home their own coveted Gala Green! AND…SMS Galahad was pinned 2013 Champion Jubilee Futurity Weanling Colt!

Ben passes along to his get not only correct conformation, talent, and beautiful cadence, but - most importantly- his wonderful temperament and reason. “Ben Babies” have that intangible “I’m It” factor, coupled with a curious nature and trainability. Nominated to several lucrative futurities, Benediction offers breeders several opportunities to earn returns on their investments! For 2012 and 2013, Benediction’s foals have combined winnings in excess of $6,000!
